Stay safe. Communities across the country are raising urgent concerns about harmful immigration enforcement practices, and it’s important that we stand together in defense of human rights. We must continue pushing back against policies that put civilians at risk and work toward systems rooted in dignity, accountability, and justice. I spent time in Minneapolis back in 2015, and as a fellow Midwesterner, I hear you and I stand with you as a naturalized citizen.
