I wanted to reach out to all of y’all out there currently fighting the unlawful occupation of your state. To reaffirm, if nothing else, that you are the true patriots of our country. That YOU are what make America great, not the count of maga crisco who occupies the white house. Their goal is to quench the fire of your spirit, to make you feel as though you are alone. But I can promise you that even in red states like mine, you are never alone. The human spirit is not so easily put out and with every act of brutality on their part, and defiance on yours, that fire only grows larger and more powerful. The day will come where the fire of y’all’s spirit will melt the ice that is trying to choke it out.
