It’s really hard to find the right words for this, something I never thought I would experience in my lifetime, but I want you all to know that there are regular people like me all over the country doing what we can to make this stop. People who had been working to prevent things from getting this bad in the first place and are horrified that our efforts weren’t good enough to protect Renee, to protect little Liam. Each of us finds the strength to carry on every time we see one of you standing up for your neighbors, one of you refusing to cower, one of you exercising your rights in spite of the danger, so that we may all keep ours. Thank you, thank you, thank you, and remember that we are with you to the end.
