As an American, I couldn’t be more proud of you if you were my own child. The love for your community, your state, and your country lifts up all of us who stand beside you in mind and spirit. Your bravery is beyond measure. Your inspiration fills my heart with love, energy, and resolve.

You—Minnesotans and the people of Minneapolis—are our sterling example of how to love thy neighbor, peacefully fight for justice, and be brave. Thank you, from the top and bottom of my heart, for being a guiding light.
