To the people of Minnesota, I hope you all know, that we are with you, and we stand by you. We think of you everyday. We try to help however we can: sending money, getting the word out, protesting, striking, calling our senators/representatives, helping and strengthening both our community and yours. We will not be silenced. And we will not let you be silenced. I know that everything seems hopeless right now. But you guys are strong. In -10 degree weather, you went out there, and you made sure they could hear you loud and clear. We will not let Renee Good and Alex Pretti be forgotten. We will not let the countless who have died in the ICE facilities be forgotten. We cannot shy away from the families we have seen torn apart, the children cruelly taken from their homes, the countless lives ruined and gone. Minnesota, you are the voice of a nation. We must stand together and hold each other. We will not let them break us. I love you, Minnesota. And I cannot wait for the day that we can finally breathe free again. You are the true inspiration to us all.
