I grew up on the Canadian side of the border and have had friends, family, and loved ones from the Minneapolis area all my life. I am moved beyond words by the care and love and determination of the people of Minnesota over this last year, and especially under this awful occupation. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your human decency. Here in Canada we are worried about you and we understand about the cold–winter is serious business but it does not stop us, or you. Please know that you are held in so many hearts, and that you are going to win. You are fighting not just for yourselves but for the world. We stand with you. True and strong and free. All my love, dear friends. Always.
