As sorry as I am for the pain and trauma that ICE is inflicting on your home, it has been inspiring to see how quickly and completely the Twin Cities community has rallied to defend itself. It has been all too easy to fall into the trap of “there’s nothing I can do,” especially in a red state. But seeing the citizens, city government, and state government all be on the same side of protecting people and protesting the rule of force continually reminds me that while I cannot do very much, we can accomplish anything.
