Watching what’s happening in Minnesota has been the weirdest mix of fear and hope. What ICE is doing there is obviously horrific, but at the same time, I have more hope for our country than I have in a long time. I’m so grateful for the bravery and kindness and resistance of Minnesotans. It’s been a kick in the pants for me to get more involved locally, because the sense of community I see in your state is what I want our country to be.
