In the land where the water reflects the sky, the acts of community care and resistance these last several weeks reflects the deep, strong, and complex love the Twin Cities holds for its neighbors. It’s a love I am honored to know and learn from, and a love I am heartened to bear witness to from thousands of miles away. May the rest of the world watch and learn, too, and do our part to provide resources to the fight in Minnesota and to prepare our own communities. Paper tigers are not nearly as powerful as the people.
