I love Minnesota, and like so many am horrified at what is happening there. Please know that I am so proud of you all. Thank you for bearing witness, for caring for your neighbors, for being brave in the face of this cruelty and un-American authoritarian behavior. You are keeping our Democracy, our collective soul alive. You have our support, and history will remember how Minnesotans met this moment. Don’t despair, don’t give up, be safe, and know that we are all praying for you and speaking out for you.
