Half-American and a foreign US citizen myself. Back in 2024, I was so terrified that the US would end up a decades-long stably authoritarian regime like Russia where the inconvenient are battered and broken and everyone else is miserable but docile. Now I can finally see the beginning of the end of the Project 2025/Paedofile Of The United States/Heritage Foundation fascist nightmare, and maybe the beginning of permanent structural change in America. You all have enduring love and support from me and my friends from across the Pond. Don’t let up. Don’t trust equally-complicit local law enforcement. Don’t accept scalebacks or bodycams or more training or leadership change: the ICE mission statement from their very inception was and is disgusting and they must be destroyed as an institution. Don’t accept that “border control is necessary”, fight for universal freedom of travel and an end to anti-immigration rhetoric. Don’t stop at abolition, fight for ICE swine and the whole Trump admin to get Nuremburg’d. Don’t get violent unless it’s immediate self-defence, not because the cause isn’t worthy of ICE-ing a few dozen thugs but because the opportunity exists to fight peacefully and keep countless innocent people out of the crosshairs. Don’t forget the community you’re fighting for. And remember to use gas masks/balaclavas//ski goggles/umbrellas/helmets/traffic cones/headphones/wooden signs/leafblowers, stay vigilant of ICE hiding in group chats and plain clothes, and stay hydrated ;)
