Tears fill my eyes as I read your stories. Each day I watch the horror that you are living through. I am so sorry and how I wish I could wrap you in a blanket of safety. You, the people of Minneapolis, are so strong and resilient, but I don’t doubt the emotional cost of having your government turn on you. The fear of not being safe in your streets and in your homes is palpable as I see your faces and I hear your screams. Mothers, fathers, children, grandmas, grandpas and all…..my heart goes out to you. You are not just fighting for yourselves but you are standing for what is the right of all people. I will continue to light a candle for the people of Minnesota. Sending you love, hope and strength but most of all an end to the brutal occupation of your city. Jacqueline (Vancouver, Canada)
