Your courage, compassion, generosity, and solidarity in the midst of grief, rage, and fear impress and inspire me daily. So many of us here, including me, try to honor the example you offer by building up in our own communities the very same connections you have modeled. You show us the meaning of “Greater than Fear” every day; you strive to manifest all the best impulses from American leaders of all eras, ages, races, traditions, and backgrounds. You give me reason for hope that we can, at long last, create a more truly equal society where all have value and dignity. In the words of a deeply-missed Minnesotan, “We all do better when we all do better.” No truer political slogan! We all deserve the world which your actions help bring to life. Peace and solidarity!
