I am 47, I live in England and am English. I lived in Minnesota as a child and went to middle school there. My memories are of a place that I was welcomed, and that Minneapolis was a wholesome place filled with peace, warmth and and kindness. Minnesota was a special place where I skates on frozen lakes, went sledding at school and swam in the lakes in summer and learnt to water ski. I played sports and had fun with my friends. Such fond memories. What I see now is Minnesotans showing the heart that I recognise from my childhood. Community values and generosity and love to each other.

On 23/01/205 I’ll be at work in England but I’ll be wearing my Minnesota sweater to show my support of you guys in your protest. I hope this small gesture means something to even one Minnesotan
