Dear Minnesotans,

Words fail to accurately describe the intense pride I feel watching your resistance grow and effect real change. It is one of the most incredible, inspiring, patriotic things I’ve ever witnessed.

Trump spoke just blocks away from my parent’s home yesterday and my 69 year old mother spent hours protesting in the bitter cold, stating that “she can’t let Minnesota down.” I couldn’t agree more with that sentiment. You have shown us what true activism is, and we are so grateful for your courage.

We won’t let the deaths of Keith, Renee, Alex, Geraldo, Parady, Luis, Heber, and Victor be in vain.
