First, let me begin by saying how sorry I am that the Minnesota state and community is going through this. As an outside observer, it’s horrifying seeing what these federal agents are perpetuating onto regular people, everyday.
Growing up in a conservative enclave of a very progressive city hasn’t been easy on me and my family. So, we’ve been looking into relocating for a while now, and we recently stumbled onto the Twin Cities. And we fell in love.
Since this nightmare began, we’ve watched from afar as governors, mayors, senators, community leaders and regular people have stood up to this bullying and said, “not happening here.” We were already sold on the twin cities as being a great place to raise our family, to experience culture and diversity, and to be a part of a likeminded community who’s got each other’s backs. Seeing this has only reinforced our decision to live and be a part of such a community.
We hope to see you, and join you, as soon as we are able. Keep on saying, “not happening here.” Be safe, Robert.
