As someone who came to Minnesota for my undergraduate education, my heart goes out the people of this great state. It’s been horrifying to watch everything that’s happened in these last few weeks, but I’ve been profoundly moved by those who’ve risked their lives to look out for their neighbors, particularly in the most vulnerable communities. It’s given me hope and conviction to continue the great work of protecting our community here in the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere.
