Dear Minneapolis friends, I spent my childhood in White Bear Lake, so I know how tough and generous Minnesotans are - 47 had no idea who he was messing with! I hope you realize that just like Selma was a turning point in the Civil Rights movement for Black Americans, Minneapolis will be remembered as a watershed in America’s peaceful defeat of fascism. First Renee Good, and now Alex Pretti? His execution snapped millions out of denial, and diverse communities are starting to mobilize. Take heart, my friends, and remember the fascist playbook: he’s trying to goad us into violence with his brutality. You are proud Minnesotans, and maybe it’s time for those SLUSH agents to go find a warmer climate, eh?
