Watching you people protesting on the streets of Minneapolis and seeing the forces you are resisting pains me greatly. I am an 87 year old American living abroad feeling the sadness of the democracy and freedoms I enjoyed slipping away. I thank you all for your strength and commitment to standing up and in harms way, while witnessing and experiencing your neighbors being beaten, tear gassed and murdered before your very eyes. Thank you,Thank you, Thank you for your courage and commitment. While the evil forces who roam your streets pain me, I’m inspired and given hope by your resistance.
