Thank you, beautiful humans of Minnesota, for showing the world the indomitable American spirit, and inspiring hope and courage in so many of your fellow countrymen. As someone who is socially anxious and terribly shy, I locked in and started calling my senators and making mutual aid efforts to prepare my community, knowing that any action, however imperfect, matters. Your compassion and courage makes a difference. Please don’t give up, and know that millions of shy, socially anxious Americans have been emboldened by your fire. I call with my hands shaking and my voice trembling but I do it scared. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Take care, and be safe. Much love from California.
