My beloved MSP. I visited you for the first time to be stand-in mom for two dear friends at their wedding. I left astonished by how well the city captures the true Midwestern spirit. I visited you the second time to pick up two new fur baby family members when they were four months old. I visited you the third time as an overnight on a cross-country road trip, which was four hours out of our way but I didn’t care. I will visit again and, when I do, you will be a stronger, more resilient, more tightly knit community for the horrors you have survived together, even stronger than post-9/11 New Yorkers. Know that this fellow Midwesterner is with you in every way possible, and I will be here to fight with you in every way you need.
Keep showing those stupid ICE/DHS/CBP fucks how we roll.
