Hello, as a U.S. citizen living abroad, I have continually felt unable to exert the amount of influence I want and need to regarding the rapid deterioration of the country of my birth due to my current distance from it. I know it’s not much, but I want to say a hearty and heartfelt thank you to all Minnesotans who are so tirelessly defending the state and its residents against the invasion of ICE agents. The way that people have come together to protect their neighbours can and should serve as a template for the rest of the country (and world) to follow. Your collective actions REALLY matter, and, as a fellow activist, they make me so proud. Please keep fighting the good fight and being on the right side of history. I’m watching from afar with great admiration and respect.
