To the brave folks in Minnesota,

I want to say thank you. I admire you deeply—for your courage, your persistence, and your willingness to stand together through tragedy. Showing up matters, especially when it’s painful, exhausting, or feels overwhelming. Your presence speaks louder than words. As a Latina, I’m especially grateful. Your solidarity reminds me that our struggles are interconnected, and that justice is not the responsibility of one community alone. It gives me hope to see people refuse to look away, refuse to be silent, and choose care and accountability instead. Please know that your voices are seen and felt far beyond where you stood. I promise to continue showing my support in any way I can. Thank you for honoring those affected, for demanding better, and for reminding us what collective humanity looks like.

May Renee and Alex be always at peace.

With respect and gratitude!
