Throughout our country’s history, change has often come because a few brave people stood up to tyranny: Lexington Green in 1776, the streets of Birmingham in 1963, the numerous protests against the Vietnam War in the 1970s. I wake up every morning, so alarmed for your safety and so proud of your courage. Someday we will read about YOU in our history textbooks. I am daily praying for your safety.
