Thank you and I am sorry. Thank you for showing time and time again what bravery, solidarity, and goodness look like. For showing what real bravery, strength and resistance is. For putting yourselves out there, risking your lives and fighting for your neighbors, your loved ones and for strangers because you’re fighting for what’s right. It’s inspiring and shows every one of us what is possible and what needs to be done when they come to our cities. Because they’re coming for all of us. But I am sorry that you are even put in this position. Sorry isn’t enough to acknowledge the pain, trauma and terror that surrounds you. But we see you. We support you. We fight with you. And we will win.
