Dear Minnesotans. Especially you folks in the Twin Cities, It’s hard to watch what’s been going on because being so far away (a former Iowan, living in India) means I can’t be out marching with you, witnessing your strength and being there to encourage folks who are afraid. As an Iowan. I’m SO proud of how you are facing off peacefully with the ICE and CBP agents. I wish Iowa had even a fraction of your courage, your hope, your energy. Please keep the faith, and remember the resolve of those monks marching for peace through the south. We shall overcome!
